Harry was a man of vice. He knew this, I knew this.
Standing now on the freeway, shivering from the 3am chill with a smoking revolver in my hand I wondered if anything could have gone any other way. Had I brought this on myself? Had simply being in Harry’s life and in turn letting him into my own somehow cemented this destiny for myself? We are the decisions we make, or don’t make. We are the situations we endure or run from. Harry was my father, and right now I was looking at his Bogart smile reflected in the blood rapidly pooling around unlucky motorist #2. My face would have been a picture of shock, disgust and horror but you see unlucky motorist #1 was the reason the revolver in my hand was smoking. And the heap his body had collapsed into might well have spelled out hypocrite. Like father like son right?
Well not exactly.

The Pale Lady
The sea is where he spends his time, that ebbing and flowing that both soothes and stings his heartless body. For out there, somewhere on that endless horizon, is ‘the pale lady‘. A n d h i s h e a r t . More than 3 decades have come and gone, 3 decades of endless searching, endless aching. Clinging to hope he sails on, alone. Hopeful that one day, if he were to find her, she would restore his heart and his body would still remember what it is to feel…

Big hello to new followers, im guessing youre here because of Bill:) Im hugely grateful to anyone that has reblogged, liked etc. Its absolutely insane how good that movie is, im just glad that there are other people out there who see the genious in it too:). Eff yeah summer!
You guys should definitely go and check out artsignals! Its a weekly art challenge between the talented Steffaloo and TheLonelyIndian that continues to produce some pretty cool stuff!
