‘Oldboy’ sketch.

Not sure how much more I’m going to do to this, but something I wanted to do never the less. If you haven't seen Oldboy, I highly recommend it. The whole vengeance trilogy is brilliant.

Dubois took one last drag on his cigarette and flicked it away, slowly exhaling the smoke he stepped off his bike. He’d found the cabin the old man had told him about in that godforsaken saloon. “Its where your answer lies, boy” is what the old fool had rambled. People had told him the guy was crazy, too fond of his ale. Heath didn’t care if the old crow was crazy, he needed him to be right, He needed to find her, he needed to bring her back, and that was going to take a whole lot of crazy.

Standing now in the middle of nowhere, in an impossibly hot desert, he suddenly felt a chill. Maybe it was the magic of the place, or maybe it was the stench of death on the air.

He checked the six-gun at his side and started towards the entrance.

Somewhere a dog was barking.

He paused at the wrecked door

Took a deep breath

And stepped through.

When Dubois regained consciousness his immediate thought was what people had said about the old man may just have been right.
